Surface Water Quality Standards Stakeholder Meeting

The DEP's Division of Water Monitoring, Standards and Pesticide Control has scheduled a June 28^th Surface Water Quality Standards stakeholder meeting to discuss potential revisions and additions to human health criteria for 94 toxic substances, primarily based on recommendations published by the USEPA in 2015, and new human health criteria for contaminants of emerging concern: 1,4-dioxane, and three per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances which are commonly known as PFAS: perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA), perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS).

The Division is convening a stakeholder meeting to provide an opportunity to share information, discuss and solicit input regarding options for these proposed revisions.  This meeting is open to all those interested, and will be held via Microsoft Teams for registered attendees.
